Our new house

After the whole Fred Larry incident we got a call from a lady down the road who goes to our church. The have a little cottage (pictured above) that just became available. After a quick tour we knew it was the right place. It is cozy and cute and set back in the trees with beautiful views out the kitchen window. It has a front room, kitchen/dining area, laundry room, loft, bathroom and bedroom. AND a back patio. We will be moving in toward the end of May and I can't wait!

When we moved from Hawaii we sold everything we owned so it will be interesting getting stuff again.... dishes, pots, pans, sheets.... the whole nine yards. So I might need a little advice on whats good out there.

I so am excited for our new little cottage :)

Bucket of Balls

After work Alden and I went and hit a bucket of balls yesterday, how could we resist on such a beautiful day? I've never golfed before, unless you count miniature golfing... which Alden informed me you don't. So there you have it. The documentation of my first swing.

How was everyone's Easter? Alden and I had to speak yesterday, so that was a TAD bit stressful but we survived!

Guess what we also did?.... Remember #1? Yep. We totally tried it and Alden got the head full of glitter which meant that he also won the prize! A lion bar (candy from Jerusalem) that is like the best tasting thing on earth. Thank you Addie!

Today Addie and I are doing a little shopping and then we are going to cook up a storm. Cuz thats what we like to do. We have been on a pita kick ever since we found delicious pita's at the farmers market..... SOooooooo for dinner I bring you.............

Me, my man, and a whole lot of hockey.

Here is a little unknown fact about my husband.... He use to play hockey, lots of hockey. I've never actually seen him play but just knowing he was a hockey player makes him a little bit more irresistible.

Right now we are wrapped up in the playoffs. I am not sure why hockey isn't a more popular sport to watch in the U.S. Its fast and aggressive. Like boxing on ice. I can't believe I use to pick watching figure skating over this. I might just be hooked. I'm half tempted to spend the money so we can go to the next game. Have I lost my mind? Go Sharks!
